Budelpack acquires business activities from Creative Outsourcing Solutions international (COSi)
Budelpack, one of Europe’s leading contract manufacturers for brand owners in the FMCG market, today announced the acquisition of business activities from Creative Outsourcing Solutions international (COSi). The transaction incorporates selected assets of COSi at its Maesteg site in South Wales (UK). COSi is a market leader in the manufacture and development of colour cosmetics and fragrances as well as spa & wellness, skin care, hair care and bath & body products. The Maesteg site employs 560 employees.
Budelpack will take over the activities on the basis of a new business plan for COSi, which records an annual turnover of € 105 million (£70 million). This business plan will provide COSi with a solid basis for renewed profitable growth and the further development of its market position.
The acquisition of COSi is strategically interesting to Budelpack as it will enhance its product and service portfolio, strengthen its position in the Personal Care market, and add new strategic relations. The acquisition will give Budelpack UK-based personal care activities and place it in the forefront of the consolidation trend in FMCG operations in Europe.
